Thank you for joining us in what looks like a rare treat – a fight between a celebrity and a member of the public!
Both girls are already in the ring, Melanie wearing a black bikini and white wrist bandages, Laura wearing a red bikini and wrist bandages, and here are the announcements:
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is a bare knuckles fight to the finish between two girls having their first fights in this fed, so here they are:
“Melanie is 34 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and hails from Hertfordshire”
“Laura is 19 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and from Cardiff”
Both girls get a good ovation from an enthusiastic audience, and the referee’s reminding them of the rules,
“Girls! Punches only! No punches below the pantyline! Or I disqualify you! To win you gotta knock your opponent out, but you also win if she can’t beat my count, or she quits, and then you can beat her senseless if you want to! Geddit?”
Both girls nod, and stare into each other’s face, clearly keen to get started
The ref tells the girls to back off until the fight starts – and the siren sounds:
Laura’s getting stuck into Melanie straight away, Melanie backing away, letting the younger girl com e at her, and in fairness she’s blocking or dodging most of the punches coming her way, Laura using a lot of energy for little reward, and Melanie is giving her some back – in face she’s giving her a lot back!
Laura likes to throw punches, but she’s not very mobile, and Melanie’s finding her face an easy target as she starts to run out of steam already, the girl not perhaps as fit as she needs to be for this sort of fight, and her face is getting scuffed up as Melanie punches her, a bruise already swelling up on her left cheekbone, Laura needing to back away, because she’s taking a hard thumping at the moment, the naïve Welsh girl trying to trade punches, but Melanie’s too strong, her punches far too accurate for the poor girl – she’s down!
Floored by a right hook, Laura groans on the canvas, rolls over as blood drips from a cut over her right eye, and that’s a nasty one! She’s getting up, bless her, but she’s very shaky, and if this was a regular boxing match, the ref would stop it, but one we go, Melanie not wasting any time, tucking into Laura, who must regret taking this fight, the older girl deliberately hurting her with punches to her body, those fists thudding into her ribs, the girl backed into the ropes, bravely trying to fight back, but her punches aren’t good enough to bother a rampant Melanie, and Laura’s down again, unable to see out of her left eye any more, she just got tagged with a big right hand, and it doesn’t look like she’s getting up this time
The referee looks hard at Laura – she’s not been knocked spark out, but she’s not getting up, even though she tries, and the fightfans cheer when his count reaches 10, and Melanie crows over the fallen Welsh babe, “Stay away from the grownups, slut!”
The announcement booms out
“Ladies and gentlemen! After 8 minutes of bare knuckle boxing, Laura Jay has been unable to beat the referee’s count, and so the winner of this fight, is – Melanie Liburd!
“And – the rules say that Melanie has the right to finish Laura if she wants to!
“What do you say folks?”
The fightfans want Laura finished off, and cheer when Melanie nods, the cheers getting louder as the referee pulls Laura towards him, and holds her upright to face the girl who beat her so easily tonight
Melanie draws back her right fist, then grins, “Anything to say before I put you to sleep, bitch?”
A groggy Laura mumbles, “Just finish me and be done with it!”
So Melanie just sucks her teeth, then hits Laura’s face, right hook, left hook, another right – and the ref lets her fall, completely senseless, to the canvas
